This was my third trip for the ice fishing with Her Wilderness and I 100% recommend! The guides are so helpful and provide great advice to improve your fishing experience. The trip coordinator is amazing, has everything prepared from food to lodging! She makes sure that every single person is taken care of, and really focuses on those that have never been ice fishing before and assists the guides! 

At this point, I'm probably biased. I've done many HW trips and they never disappoint. This one was no different. The weather was harsh but our guides and the group of ladies were amazing. We were put on birds in stupid cold, icy, windy conditions and got to root one another on as we hit target species and heck, one of us the group got her first two birds ever! As always, thank you for creating this platform for us. On to the next trip....

This was a wonderful trip with some amazing women! I enjoyed every minute of this trip. I highly recommend this company to any women who want to take some women-only trips.

The Maine Sea Duck hunt was a great experience for my first ever duck hunt. The freezing temperatures and crazy wind were out of anyones control, but we all made the best of it and harvested some beautiful birds. I am glad that my first hunt was with a great group of women who never failed to cheer each other on! 

Toni is the best! OTC Fishing were some of the most fun guides. They were so helpful, kind, and willing to have fun with us. Great girls get away!!

Our recent Iowa Pheasant trip was an unforgettable adventure! Eight women, hailing from five different states, united by our shared passion for the outdoors. We embarked on this journey, not just to hunt birds, but to forge bonds that extended far beyond the field. We hunted side-by-side, shared valuable lessons, erupted in laughter, celebrated our successes together, and even tackled the bird cleaning process as a team. 

Embracing spontaneity, we also threw in an afternoon of fly fishing for trout, as the opportunity presented itself. From the initial awkward stumbles learning how to cast a fly rod, to shared giggles over hopelessly tangled lines, and the meticulous process of changing out flies, we discovered something far greater than just trout and pheasant. We unearthed a profound sense of connection – a connection to the tranquil waters, the expansive fields, the present moment, and most importantly, to one another. The experience of immersing ourselves in nature alongside such remarkable women, cultivating what feels like lifelong friendships, and creating a tapestry of cherished memories, will forever hold a cherished place in our hearts.

I’ve always been intimidated by salmon fishing, but this trip gave me the nudge to step out of my comfort zone — and it ended up being the best part.

Amanda kept everything so easygoing and well-coordinated, and Branden was an incredible guide — patient, supportive, and full of knowledge that made the whole experience even better. Couldn’t have asked for a more fun, memorable trip.

Toni Parnell as the trip coordinator was great!  She arranged a great AirBnB and provided great restaurant suggestions for dinner. This was such a fun day! The event was well organized and you could truly tell there was so much thought put into the day. We were taken care of from the start with an initial email preparing us with what to expect, where to meet, and what to bring (even an extra heads up on the weather to expect for the day. I thought this was particularly thoughtful for those coming from out of town). Once at the event, we were greeted by the coordinator and met with the safety instructor who provided us with helpful tips and advice on having a fun and safe time on the course. Then we were paired up and sent out to our assigned stations so we would all finish around the same time. I was especially pleased to get some one-on-one coaching from a top-level instructor, this was such a bonus! After shooting there was a great time of fellowship and even prizes raffled off and goodie bags for everyone.

We understand your concerns about the lack of structure and communication upon arrival. During the event, we made sure to ask every participant if they had experience with shooting clays and shotguns and at this specific everyone said they did! We had a great time participating in this event! 
The only downfall was the lack of structure, communication, and instruction upon arrival. This was advertised as a beginner friendly event, and I am very thankful we were not beginners. I do hope there are more events like this going forward, I just pray for more guidance & welcoming leader participation in the future. 

The trip was awesome! Everything was planned out and laid out every well for everyone to be on the same page. The community of women were super inviting and made my first trip super fun.  I was really nervous about the trip. Once I got there and meet everyone that all quickly faded away and soon became a trip that I will never forget. 

SOUTH DAKOTA WOMEN'S SNOW GOOSE HUNT WEEKEND

Despite some rough weather on our last day of hunting and low bird count overall I had an amazing time. The group did not let the elements or lack of birds dwindle their attitudes for the weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better group of girls and the guides were fantastic going out of their way to make our time fun and being helpful. This will definitely be a return trip for me!

Had a great time! Very well and organized and room for flexibility. Trip was fantastic, even going from 60s one day to 30s and rain/snow another. 

Had an amazing time, met a lot of great women and got to experience a new way of hunting! The atmosphere and being able to meet a bunch of new people was really cool and i feel like I’ve made some new friends even from the trip. Definitely looking forward to going again next year!

This was my second year on this trip and I loved it even more than the first time, the people, the location, the focus, all of it is perfect and really what I needed after a very hard 2024.

I wish this trip could be longer, feeling like everything is really just 1 day makes the day feel a little hectic, and while I was happy we were all at the Mayhew Inn downtown this year it still felt segregated to rooms instead of really pushing for people to meet in the common areas to get to know each other.

If this trip is offered again though, I will be first in line. 

MINNESOTA WINTER WELLNESS

Winter Wellness Weekend was just what I needed and was amazing! From the peaceful meditation and beautiful nature hikes to the hot sauna session followed by cold plunging in Lake Superior. We ended this weekend with some yoga, self reflection and new friendships. This was all lead by great leaders and very well organized throughout the whole weekend. Highly recommend Her Wilderness and the Winter Wellness Weekend!

Perfect Trip to get away and reset. This weekend was an adventure, lots of firsts for me, definitely grateful for the opportunity to attend and spend time with the Best group of Woman. 

This was the second time I have done this trip with HW and as always it exceeded expectations. Information, plans, and packing list were all detailed and thought out. We had a great group that was able to pivot when the weather interfered with our original plans. With a group this size everything still ran smoothly and everything was basically on time or ahead of schedule! This will ALWAYS be my repeat trip if I can make it!

I had a great time in Jackson Hole. I thought Sam did a great job with the interesting mix of women on our trip. Our cabin was very comfortable and we got to see some amazing views as well as eat some tasty food.
